Spitfire Audio – Spitfire Studio Brass (KONTAKT)

Your creativity, your control. Spitfire Studio Brass is the second release in our all-new Spitfire Studio Orchestra line. For two years we have been striving to create an incredibly versatile sample library for the professional level. Choosing the crisp and vibrant setting of AIR Studio One – a smaller, more manageable space than the lavish Lyndhurst Hall – we offer our fellow composers a library of copper with depth, detail, and jaw-dropping power.

Epic power with the broadest emotional range of performance, but with the grace and precise detail of the dry scene, masterfully recorded by Grammy-winning engineer Simon Rhodes. Choose from solo, duet or breakout performances and bring the details of your music to life with waves, fluttering tongues and staccatissimo, and traditional articulations.

Studio Brass is the second section of our new Studio orchestral library. It has all the cherished Spitfire traits: London session players, the finest instruments and an unprecedented signal path recorded by Grammy-winning engineer Simon Rhodes – in a space ideal for recording the dynamic range of wind instruments.

As with our existing symphonic and chamber ranges, we have adopted a “do our best” approach: an encyclopedia of articulations, dynamic layers and RR for seamless, nuanced realism. Studio Brass is available in two versions: Spitfire Studio Brass and the more extensive Spitfire Studio Brass Professional.

Spitfire Studio Brass contains 8 instruments, including 4 soloists, plus two player sections – all recorded with Schoeps Decca Tree. Articulations include a range of advanced techniques and muting, as well as three options: staccatissimo, teno, and marcato. Instantly applicable, immediately musically.

This version is NOT Professional and NOT Symphonic!
