LiquidSonics and Slate Digital have announced Lustrous Plates, a new plug-in that recreates the beautiful tone of seven classic plate reverberators using new technology.
Temporal-Acoustic-Spectral-Mapping (TASM) from LiquidSonics. TASM uses a patented multiband dynamic capture and analysis technique that allows frequency profiling for natural attenuation, which is then mapped to an advanced reverb synthesis algorithm.
It not only achieves excellent attenuation on real acoustic plates, but also takes advantage of the classic algorithmic reverb parameters that allow fine tuning in ways not seen in other emulations.
Lustrous Plates is a rich and luxurious contemporary design with seven distinctive patterns powered by Fusion-IR. It is important to note that the reverb will be the first collaboration product of such major developers as LiquidSonics and Slate Digital.
