DiscoDSP Corona v7.1.0 VSTi VSTi3 AAX for Windows
DiscoDSP – Corona v7.1.0 is a hybrid synthesizer for Windows that combines virtual analog and wave synthesis. It features three VA and WAVE oscillators with 16 combinable modes, Super 7 and Super 7+ unison based on the Roland JP-8080, two filters with feedback and zero latency, a 32-step arpeggiator, 3 LFOs, 3 ADSR envelopes, an 8-way modulation matrix, as well as built-in distortion and chorus.
Sequencer Mode
Corona 7’s Sequencer-Arpeggiator mode turns the volume bar into a 12-note grid with pitch transposition and three trigger modes. SEQ HOLD works as long as the key is pressed. SEQ TOGGLE activates until the same key is pressed. SEQ SYNC holds the new key until the loop is complete, so a pitch change does not interrupt the pattern mid-measure.
Edit > Record launches a step cursor controlled by MIDI input: C4-B4 is a semitone, C3 is a syncopation, D3 is a rest, and E3 is a step back. Generate Sequence creates a playable bassline with one scale per take, a groove template, a root note on the downbeat, and resolution at the end of the bar.
Edit > Export MIDI records the pattern as a one-bar loop with the anchors grouped into held notes, M1 and M2 as CC22 and CC23, and the tempo and bar signature placed in the lead tempo track.
MIDI Learn and Mod Matrix
MIDI Learn presets with CC icons overlayed on each assignable control. Edit > MIDI, click a control, move a knob, and you are done. MIDI boards are grouped by manufacturer.
The Mod Matrix has 30 assignment presets in the assignment drop-down lists. The Arpeggiator has a show and hide switch and mouse wheel support for ArpSteps.
Synth1 and JP-8000/8080 Import
Drag-and-drop import for Synth1 (.sy1) presets and SysEx import for Roland JP-8000 and JP-8080, allowing you to load familiar patches rather than creating them from scratch.
Oscillator Linking Modes
Three oscillators operate in operator linking modes (12 in Phase mode, 16 in Detune mode), so the same three sources cover the range from clean drain to FM and ring modulation.

Bitwise Modes
Standard and absolute AND, OR, XOR applied to waveform samples at the binary level. Does not sound like additive or subtractive. It sounds like bit math, with the digital grit and pseudo-rhythmic artifacts that come with it.
