Frequency Finder

Your journey starts here. With a single click of the Finder button, KickShaper intelligently identifies the dominant frequency of your kick, instantly finding the perfect way to boost its finish. Of course, you can adjust this manually if needed. This ensures that KickShaper’s processing always matches the musical tone of your kick.

Deboom

At the heart of KickShaper is the Deboom control. If your kicks have a lot of low frequencies and are distorting or overloading your mix, this feature will be your saviour. This isn’t just another low-pass filter or compressor. Instead, Deboom ingeniously shortens the low-frequency wavelength, making kicks sharp and expressive, yet concise. These kicks will blend seamlessly with your killer basslines and 808s. No longer will your bass dominate the entire low-frequency spectrum; they will blend seamlessly with the rest of your track.

Tails

KickShaper boasts an exclusive approach to kicktail creation, which sets this plugin apart from simple sub-generators. This Tail module resonates with the filters, creating a frequency resonance that is completely free of unpleasant buzzing artifacts. By extracting sub-frequencies from the original kicktail and harmonizing them naturally, KickShaper integrates with the original kicktail, producing a clean and cohesive sound.

Thump & Click

The Thump control analyzes low-frequency waves and adjusts the sustain of your bass, affecting only the low frequencies and preserving the essence of the bass. KickShaper’s Click module is an advanced transient shaping algorithm that handles unpredictable bass patterns, fast hits and variable tempos. By analyzing high-frequency waves, transients are precisely shaped, making KickShaper an indispensable transient processing plugin.

Tone & Enhance

KickShaper’s Tone section is specifically designed for bass processing. The Cut control is used to fine-tune the low frequencies, the Low control is used to add definition, the Mid control is used to adjust muddiness and the High control is used to precisely control clicks.

The Depth control applies analog hardware convolution to enhance the bass, making it more spacious, adding depth and reducing excessive high frequencies. Heat enhances the bass, slightly saturating it. The Drum Processing simulates console compression and is fine-tuned for use with bass.
