Phrasebox is a phrase arpeggiator that lets you create expressive sequences from MIDI chords.
With a DAW-like piano ribbon, Phrasebox offers extensive playback control that goes far beyond traditional step arpeggiators. Played notes are displayed in editor lines according to customizable rules, allowing you to select notes by pitch, time, strength, or randomly. You can also add static notes with a fixed pitch.
Each phrase can contain an unlimited number of lines, each with its own note selection rules. Modifiers such as transpose and MIDI channels allow you to create multi-layered, complex sequences.
A powerful editor allows for advanced phrase editing, including repeating notes, variable-length lines, and phrases of any length and time signature. The controller editor supports multiple automation lines with multi-channel output and detailed curve customization.
