Boom Library – Magic Alchemy (Designed) (WAV)
Magic: Alchemy is a professional sound effects library created based on real chemical reactions and natural elements. Short but rich in character, the effects are perfect for spells, magical interfaces, fantasy stories. They fit easily into the mix, adding a magical sparkle to it. Perfect for games, trailers, audio productions – and let the magic sound real. Each sound is recorded with fantastic attention to detail.
Sound magic created by nature
No artificial synthesis. Magic: Alchemy was created through real chemical processes: alcohol burning in flasks, butane roaring in tubes, igniting wicks and whirlpools in glass vessels. These are authentic sound textures recorded in a laboratory. The result is a magical sound filled with depth, authenticity and energy.

The recording process
Our studio temporarily turned into a makeshift sound laboratory with thoughtful ventilation, fire extinguishers and awareness of all possible risks. By experimenting with ordinary materials, we created controlled chaos: lighting fuses, igniting liquids, boiling water and provoking chemical reactions. We aimed to capture the very essence of this unpredictable energy to give sound designers primordial, dynamic sonic magic.
What’s special about this library?
This is magic inspired by physics, not fairy tales. Short spells, realistic textures, sounds with emotional coloring. Need sounds for a magical interface or a grand spell battle? It’s all here: magic that works quickly, sounds convincing and is memorable for a long time. Unusual? Absolutely. Ready for your mix? Absolutely!
When the Boom Library team works on a library of magic sounds, we approach it thoroughly. For Magic: Alchemy, lead sound designer Fabio Coressel set up a real alchemy lab in the studio. The result is a collection of magic sounds that are concise, bright and full of character. It doesn’t matter if you’re working on spells for games, fantasy films, or creating an enchanted atmosphere in trailers and audiobooks, this library offers lively, expressive sounds ready to use.
Compatible Software
This sound library comes in WAV file format, meaning you can import and work with them in any software that can handle this file type.
Embedded Metadata
To ensure the fastest and easiest workflow possible, all files contain extensive metadata, such as a file description and keywords, allowing you to quickly find the sounds you need. The metadata can be read and manipulated using audio management tools. Some DAWs have a built-in search tool that can also read the embedded metadata.
